About Us

Follow the adventures of The Metz Family. One crazy Mom of 2 wonderful boys from Kokshetau, Kazakhstan!

Jackson is my oldest, and insanely smart (no - really, scary smart) -- he's happy, and funny, and I couldn't ask for more....

and then came Ethen - the surprise member of our family, who is Jackson's bio brother that I found out about roughly 16 months after getting home with Jackson. Ethen has Epilepsy (infantile spasms), and global developmental delays, and is the light of all of our lives! He shares his brother's humor and stubborness, and I don't know that any of us has a clue as to what we would do without him!

So this is our story - drop us a note - we'd love to hear from you!

Worthwhile Causes

As I've navigated both the world of adoption, and the world of parenting a special needs child, I've come across organizations who's services I believe in and support. Take a look - these are worthwhile causes, if you're looking for a place to make a difference, these might just be for you!
